Cancellation Policy
Thank you for choosing Paws & Applause for in-home training! To ensure the best experience for you and your dog, please review the following terms: Payment & Booking A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot. The full package total is $900. Payment is split: $400 due at the first session, $400 due at the final (fifth) session. We accept cash, card, Venmo, PayPal, and Zelle. Scheduling & Rescheduling We allow 1 reschedule per client with at least 24 hours’ notice. Last-minute cancellations (under 24 hours) or no-shows may result in loss of that session. All 5 sessions must be completed within 8 weeks of the first unless otherwise agreed upon. Client Participation An adult must be present for every session. You are expected to complete daily training homework to ensure progress. Training success depends on consistency—your follow-through matters! Dog Requirements Dogs must be at least 5 months old, healthy, and current on vaccinations. Let us know ahead of time if your dog has any aggression, fear, or bite history so we can plan accordingly. Training Tools A Herm Sprenger prong collar is included with the program. A Martin System e-collar is available at a discounted rate if chosen. All tools will be introduced with proper conditioning and explanation. Liability By enrolling, you acknowledge that dog training carries inherent risk. You accept full responsibility for your dog’s behavior during and after training. Paws & Applause is not liable for injuries or damages caused by your dog.
